Reining Hope Counseling Services, LLC provides in-office, telehealth, and equine-assisted mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families across Orleans, Caledonia and Essex counties.

Reining Hope Counseling Services, LLC offers animal-assisted and nature-based therapy sessions at Sunset Hills Farm in Morgan, VT. To protect the confidentiality of our clients we don’t allow drop-in visitors. Please make sure to call, email, or use the “Contact Me” or “Book an Appointment” feature on our website to schedule a visit.

For those who have already booked an appointment, please follow these safety rules to help keep everyone (humans, animals, and nature alike) safe.

Sunset Hills Farm Safety Rules

  1. The farm is private and visits are by appointment only. No drop in visitors are permitted.
  2. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear at all times around the horses and at the farm. NO open-toed or slip-on shoes or sandals are allowed in the barn, stalls, or paddock areas.
  3. Dress for the elements! You may experience rain, wind, sun, heat, cold, and everything else while you are out at the farm so come prepared!
  4. Bring a water bottle and a snack if needed.
  5. Drive SLOW (5mph) up the driveway and around the barn.
  6. Upon arrival check in at the office. Please don’t walk around the farm or touch any of the animals without your therapist present.
  7. During sessions parents/guardians, siblings or other relatives and visitors should wait in the designated waiting area unless otherwise discussed with the therapist.
  8. Absolutely NO SMOKING or vaping is allowed anywhere on the property.
  9. Dogs and other pets are NOT ALLOWED at Sunset Hills Farm with the exception of service animals. If you have a service animal, you will need to speak with your therapist to determine an appropriate and feasible plan.
